Maybe you've seen some of the GNU social mockups on the development site. Well, for our own version of GNU social (hereby called simply 'social') we have our own design in mind...

Matt has become somewhat obsessed with this program called Pencil -- it's free software, naturally, as well as being awesome -- and future designs will no doubt appear in similar form until we actually get around to building it.
